  • In our continuing “What to do about deer” webinar series, part 2 will explore the differences between conflict and population management, including why traditional management often focuses on deer numbers and misses the bigger picture when it comes to addressing community conflicts with deer. We will highlight important elements that are often overlooked and should be considered before lethal actions are taken. In our work with communities and experts on this issue over the last three decades, we’ve learned that communities focus must be on reducing conflicts with deer, not reducing the number of deer. You’ll learn what holistic conflict management looks like, how communities and local organizations can build more effective plans, and what tools are available from Humane World for Animals to help local leaders be proactive.
  • This webinar will be recorded and available later to watch for free at humanepro.org/wildlifewebinars.
