Dedication Plans Finalized - NACA Memorial Wall and Gardens Respect, Recognition and Compassion - and NACA is inviting you to attend. The dedication of the National Animal Control Association (NACA) Memorial Wall and Gardens has been set for Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the NACA Corporate Office in Olathe, Kansas (a suburb of Kansas City). The NACA Memorial Wall and Gardens is a permanent dispaly/tribute to remember and honor NACA members employed as animal control officers (ACO's) that have died in the line of duty. The wall will display the names of these fallen ACO's. The gardens will serve as a backdrop for the wall providing a serene and private area to reflect on the loss of these fallen members and to honor their memory. The event will start with an evening reception open house on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00pm at the Crown Plaza Kansas City - Overland Park, 12601 West 95th St., Lenexa, Kansas. The dedication ceremony will be on Saturday, October 1,2011 at 11:00am at the NACA Corporate Office, 101 N. Church St., Olathe, Kansas. The dedication will include the ceremonial reading of the names. NACA encourages animal control professionals from all fifty states to attend as well as professionals from other national organizations. ACO's provide professional animal protection and control services that are invaluable to communities across the nation. The NACA Corporate Office and Board of Directors invite you help honor our fallen brothers/sisters and recognize the work that ACO's across the country do every day.
